Canada Day Celebrations & Fireworks
JULY 1 IN TUMBLER RIDGE
Live music, BBQ, kids games and face painting. Call the Community Centre for a complete listing of activities 250-242-4246. Fireworks at the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School field in the evening hosted by the Tumbler Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.

Crabfest 2008
JULY 4 - JULY 5 IN NEW AIYANSH
Gingolx hosts the 5th Annual CRABFEST, July 4th - 5th 2008! This year promises another spectacular event featuring an impressive variety of international and Canadian acts including headliners Tom Cochrane and Glass Tiger! The highlight of every Crabfest is the performance of traditional Nisga'a singers, dancers and drummers!

Jam at the Dam Music Festival
JULY 5 - JULY 6 IN HUDSON'S HOPE
Gary Fjellgaard, Saskia & Darrel Delaronde, Out of Alba, Bob Cook and many Peace Country artists will play this July 5-6 in Hudsons Hope. Music covers all kinds: country, folk, celtic, rocknroll, reggae and childrens concert. A fun weekend at a beautiful locale right on the banks of the Peace River!
Paddle for the Peace

Public event: Paddle from the Halfway River Bridge to Bear Flat and a feast at Bear Flat Campground Registration fee: $5.00 Adults, free for 13 and under Registration: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Launch: 11:00 a.m. at Halfway River Bridge on Highway 29 between Hudson's Hope and Fort St. John, BC Purpose: Raise awareness about the Peace River Valley and Proposed Site C Dam

8th Annual Cottonwood Music Festival
JULY 18 - JULY 20 IN FORT ST. JAMES
On July 18 – 20th, 2008 come and experience a range of good music in a beautiful setting, a three day Bluegrass, Old-time Country, Celtic and Folk music festival on the shores of beautiful Stuart Lake in Fort St. James, BC. There will be on-site dry camping, food vendors and a craft and farmer's market. While you are here visit our national historic site fur trading fort. Bring your lawn chair.
