West Coast Fishing Club

The West Coast Fishing Club owns and operates three fishing/nature resorts, all located at the northern end of the Queen Charlotte Islands, in the middle of the habitual migration routes for salmon on the west coast. 

The Clubhouse, situated on Langara Island’s highest point for its stunning vista, offers the most spectacular, comfortable and luxurious accommodations in the midst of this last frontier, with five-star dining each evening.  Ammenities include a private dining room, spa, deck-front hot tubs, fully equipped gym and more.

 The North Island Lodge is just a stone's throw from the Clubhouse near Langara Island. This floating lodge appeals to those who come primarily to satisfy their love of sport fishing, but who also insist on supreme comforts such as comfortable rooms, a lounge, wet bar, dining room and a games room.

 The Outpost is situated among rain forests and mountain streams in the heart of Graham Island's proposed ecological preserve. The smaller, more intimate Outpost offers its 18 guests the rare opportunity to fish and explore nature in splendid isolation and comfort.

At each of these three locations much more than salmon fishing awaits. One can enjoy sight-seeing on the water and marvel at humpback, grey and orca whales, sea lions, porpoises and otters, seldom seen species of birds, rare Peregrine Falcons, abundant bald eagles and plentiful deer and bear. The best way to experience it all is either by sea kayaking, heli-hiking/beachcombing, visits to an ancient Haida Village, or rainforest hikes/walks to experience nature's timeless rhythms.

Fully guided and self-guided trips are offered May to September each year and prices are all inclusive, round trip from Vancouver’s South Airport Terminal.  Expert guides, first-rate boats and tackle, and the sheer abundance of fish virtually assure that you will catch the biggest, as well as the most, salmon of your life.
